On October 21, the APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC CTF) met with the APERC (Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre) office in Tokyo to discuss potential collaboration on energy research within the APEC region. The meeting was led by Dr. Kommate Jitvanichphaibool, Deputy Director of APEC CTF, along with a team from Chiang Mai University.
The discussion focused on integrating foresight tools to examine energy transitions. This potential collaboration aims to leverage combined expertise to address key energy challenges in the APEC region, supporting sustainable energy transitions and enhancing regional policy-making capabilities.
