The APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC CTF) – Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO) participated in the APEC Climate Symposium 2025 under the theme “Addressing APEC’s Climate Challenges: Complexity of Climate Change Adaptation and the Way Forward”, organised by APEC Climate Center (APCC). This event held from 7–9 August 2025 at the Convention Hall, BEXCO, Busan, Republic of Korea. The symposium brought together policymakers, experts, practitioners, and researchers from APEC member economies to exchange insights, share best practices, and develop actionable strategies for climate change adaptation.

Representing the Thailand economy, APEC CTF, led by Dr. Kommate Jitvanichphaibool, Deputy Director, joined as a candidate in the discussions. The event proved to be a fruitful platform for fostering collaboration across APEC economies, enhancing knowledge exchange, and exploring innovative approaches to tackle climate challenges—strengthening regional resilience and paving the way for sustainable futures.
