APEC CTF was requested by Industrial Technology Assistance Program (iTAP), NSTDA to facilitate in 4 foresight workshops with an aim to fabricate a customized strategic roadmap for Thai furniture industry. A Strategic roadmap for Thai furniture industry is considered as a guideline of possible changes, trends and uncertainties that are bound to take place in the next 10 years. Stakeholders, for instance: governmental organizations, the academia, the private sector, and furniture experts presented an active brainstorm and fruitful discussion towards the future of the industry. At the present, Thai furniture industry’s strategic roadmap is completed and has gained approvals. The final report is in the process of printing and due to be available to the public in late February 2010.
