On 14 December 2022 at 8 pm (Bangkok time), Dr. Surachai Sathitkunarat, Executive Director of APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC CTF) participated in the videoconference “passing the torch” session organized by Duncan Cass-Beggs, Counsellor for Strategic Foresight at the OECD.

The event’s agenda started with parting reflections by Duncan who will soon be leaving the role as a counsellor for Strategic Foresight and returning to continue his career in public policy in Canada. Then the introductory remarks by  Rafal Kierzenkowski, the next counsellor of strategic foresight and head of the OECD Strategic Foresight Unit. Rafal is currently Deputy Chief of Staff at the OECD and brings a depth of understanding about the organization and global public policy. Last, the aspirations and suggestions for the future.
