The APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC CTF) has officially declared its “WORKSHOP ON: Technology Foresight Scenarios Towards Net-zero Emission and Policy Impact Assessment” as a carbon-neutral event. Held from 28-30 August 2024, the workshop achieved this milestone by offsetting 24 tons of carbon dioxide emissions through carbon credits from the “Mitr Phol Bio-power (Danchang) Block 2” project, under Thailand’s T-VER carbon trade market. Certified by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), this carbon-neutral declaration reinforces APEC CTF’s in sustainability efforts.

This achievement reflects the APEC CTF’s dedication to supporting global efforts to combat climate change. A special thanks goes to all participants for making this collective success possible.
