On 24 February 2023, Dr. Surachai Sathitkunarat, Executive Director of APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC CTF) participated in the DGT 2023 (Digital Governance Thailand 2023) hosted by ETDA (Electronic Transactions Development Agency). The event was held on-site during 24-25 February at Samyan Mitrtown Hall with international and local speakers to share the vision on the theme HAPPINESS CREATION.

Dr. Surachai joined the main stage, the “Foresight for Digital Development” session to share experiences on the foresight development and dynamic of modern foresight for policy formulation. The example shared in the session also includes how important foresight is to prioritize issues in several tiers.
Dr. Surachai also mentioned that Thailand has no challenges with digital adoption but is worried about digital security and digital literacy.
