On 5^th April 2019, the APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC CTF), hosted by the Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office, organized a focus group on “Research & Innovation Roadmap for Circular Economy: Visioning and Scoping” at the Novotel Bangkok On Siam Square, Thailand. The focus group was participated by key stakeholders—including policymaker, private sector, academic, researcher, and non-profit organisation—from various sectors concerning transition towards the circular economy. By using the scenario planning method, the focus group identified key drivers and enablers for preferred scenarios of Thailand’s circular economy transition. The potential circular activities were also illustrated along the value chain.
