Krabi, Thailand – From August 28 to 30, 2024, experts from APEC economies will gather for an exclusive workshop hosted by the APEC Center for Technology Foresight. Set against the stunning backdrop of Krabi, this invitation-only event will explore the theme “GREEN HORIZON: Towards a Hydrogen Economy,” focusing on foresight-driven energy transition scenarios and policy impacts.

This workshop is part of the APEC project APEC Energy Transition Towards Net-Zero: Foresight Scenarios and Policy Impact, a self-funded initiative endorsed by the APEC Policy Partnership on Science, Technology and Innovation (PPSTI). The project promotes collaboration among APEC economies to develop policies and strategies for achieving net-zero emissions, with hydrogen as a key focus.

Participants will engage in scenario-building exercises, share insights on hydrogen economy challenges, and shape decisions for a sustainable energy future.
