The APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC CTF) has published its Annual Report 2025, highlighting the Center’s achievements, foresight initiatives, regional cooperation, and contributions to strengthening anticipatory policymaking across the Asia-Pacific region.

Under the theme “From Signals to Strategy: Strengthening APEC’s Capacity to Anticipate, Adapt and Act,” the report reflects the growing importance of strategic foresight in helping APEC economies respond to rapid and interconnected changes, including emerging technologies, climate transition, energy security, demographic shifts, supply-chain disruptions, and evolving geopolitical and economic dynamics.

Throughout 2025, APEC CTF worked closely with APEC member economies, policymakers, researchers, experts, and partner organizations to strengthen regional foresight capacity and translate future-oriented analysis into actionable policy insights.

Looking ahead, APEC CTF will build on these achievements under its renewed 2026–2029 mandate, with priorities including emerging STI issues, policy recommendations, foresight capacity building, regional networks, and joint research initiatives.
